  • In what ways can I communicate with Starbags?

    For general queries you can email us at [email protected], while for specific enquiries relating to your orders please use [email protected] and we will answer within 24 hours. If you have a more pressing matter, please call us on +30 2107210918 or +30 6980829090 during business hours (9:00 to 18:00 Monday to Friday). Alternatively, you can use the contact form which you can find here.
  • Is there a shop where I can see your merchandise up close?

    While we don't have a physical store, you can visit our showroom in order to see, try on and buy any of our products. Opening hours are 9:00 to 18:00, Monday to Friday.
  • Why should I subscribe to your newsletter?

    Subscription, means you’ll be the first to get our news, see our new “just in” merchandise, take advantage of our offers and gain access to any discount codes that may be valid at the time. You can easily unsubscribe by following the link found at the bottom of our newsletter.
  • What are discount codes?

    We regularly include discount codes in our newsletters. They only apply to online orders - fill out the code into the appropriate field at the checkout and get an additional discount on the final price shown. Discount codes can be used multiple times until they expire.
PRODUCTS
  • Are your products authentic?

    All our products are 100% authentic. We do not rent, sell, or deal in any way whatsoever with products the authenticity of which we cannot be entirely sure of.
  • What condition are your products in?

    Excellent Condition

    Item appears to have not been used and shows no or very slight signs of wear. Any imperceptible flaws or signs of wear are stated in the listing.


    Good Condition

    Item shows some wear and signs of previous use, but is still in a very good condition. Slightly worn corners, surface scratches, slight darkening in handles, creases in leather, and slightly tarnished hardware may be visible. Any notable flaws or signs of wear are stated in the listing and can be seen in the photos.

    Gently used

    Item is in good overall condition. It will have been been worn frequently and will show some signs of wear such as scuffed edges, scratches and/or worn hardware. It will not have any holes, tears or broken parts.

    Used

    Item will be in fair condition. It will have been worn frequently and will have noticeable signs of wear. Please pay attention to our detailed description and photos.

  • Do your products come in different sizes?

    No, all our products are unique.
  • How can I be sure that what I buy from you will be the correct size for me?

    Sizes usually vary from designer to designer and model to model, so please pay attention to the size listed next to the product, as well as its fit. We try on all the clothes and accessories to give you the complete picture, and we also make sure to take their exact measurements.
    When you make your purchase online it is not possible to sample the product, but if you are not satisfied you can return it within 14 calendar days from the day of receipt for a full refund minus the cost of return.
    If you are in Athens you can visit us in our showroom, try out what you want and make your purchase on the spot.

BAG RESERVATIONS
  • What is the longest period of time I can rent one of your bags for?

    The longest period allowed by our online reservations system is one month. You can, however, keep a bag for as long as you like, provided it is returned to us every three months for necessary maintenance. You will not be charged either for the maintenance or any courier costs. If you wish to rent a bag for any period longer that one month, please call us on +30 210 7210 918 to arrange it.
  • Can I rent more than one bag at a time? If yes, will they have to be received and returned on the same date?

    You can have up to three bags in your possession at any one time and their dates of receipt and/or return may differ.
  • What happens if a bag I have rented is soiled or damaged?

    If you notice any damage (stains, tears, burns, loss of charm, etc.), even the most minor, please do not attempt to fix it yourself, just notify us as soon as possible via email at [email protected]. We have professionals that take care of all of our products and in the vast majority of cases any stain or slight damage can be quickly restored.
    In cases where the damage is more extensive you will be asked to cover the repair costs. Please refer to our “Terms of Use” for full details of the rental contract. If for any reason, you are not in agreement with these terms please do not proceed with a rental.
  • What happens if the bag I have rented is destroyed, lost or stolen?

    In the unfortunate case where the bag is lost, you will be asked to cover the cost of a replacement, which can be as much as the retail price of the bag. In case of theft, please report it first to the police and provide us with the relevant confirmation when communicating with us by phone or on [email protected].
  • Are the bags insured against damage or loss?

    Unfortunately it is not possible for us to insure the bags at this time.
  • What is the return procedure for a bag I have rented? What happens if it is returned late of if I am unable to be there when the courier calls for the bag?

    The return date, time and address are predetermined from the day the order is placed. All you have to do is hand it to the courier. Full printed instructions will have been included with the bag when it was delivered to you.
    If, for any reason you need to change the time or date of return, please inform us in time on [email protected] so that we can make the necessary arrangements.
    Please note that any delays not agreed in advance with us will result in extra charges. Please refer to our Terms of Use for full details of the rental contract. If for any reason, you are not in agreement with these terms please do not proceed with a rental.
  • Apart from handbags, can I also rent clothes and accessories?

    For the time being we only rent handbags.
  • Can I use the handbag rental service if I live outside Greece?

    Unfortunately, no. You must be a Greek resident with a valid address in Greece in order to rent a bag from us.
PRODUCT SALES
  • How can I place an order?

    The easiest and quickest way is to place your order online. After all, it’s what our website was designed for! Alternatively, you can phone in your order on +30 2107210918.
  • What payment methods do you accept?

    For handbag rentals (available only in Greece) we accept credit or debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Diners and American Express), as well as Paypal. For purchases, you can also pay by deposit into a company bank account (Alpha Bank, Piraeus Bank, National Bank of Greece, Eurobank).
  • Is it safe for me to use my credit card online at Starbags?

    Yes it is. Your credit card and other details are encrypted using the latest 128 bit SSL technology, so that they are safe when transmitted through our systems. We can guarantee that they cannot be intercepted, read or altered in any way during transmission.
  • Do you store my Personal Information?

    Payments on our website are processed and authorized by Alpha bank, through its secure encrypted website. We only temporarily store any personal information which is necessary to complete transactions or rentals and any sensitive information is subsequently deleted.
  • Can I place an order from abroad?

    You can make purchases from any country in the world and pay by card, bank deposit or PayPal.
DELIVERY AND RETURNS
  • Which courier companies do you use and what are the shipping costs?

    Domestic orders and rentals are shipped via ACS or Geniki Taxydromiki. All foreign orders are shipped by registered post using the Greek Postal Service or Skynet Courier.
    Shipping costs in all directions are free!
  • How soon will my order arrive?

    Greece Orders
    If your order is placed before 14:00, it will be sent the same day and, in most cases, will be delivered the next working day. All orders placed during weekends will be delivered the following Tuesday.
    You may pick up your order from your local courier office if it is more suitable for you. In this case, you will have 48 hours from the date your order arrives to do so. If you don't, unless we have agreed otherwise, your order will be returned to us.
     If you have chosen to pay by bank deposit, the amount will have to be credited into the company account within 48 hours of the order being placed. Failure to do that without prior arrangement with us may result in the cancellation of your order.

    EU, Bulgaria, Albania, Cyprus
    Orders to these destinations usually take up to 3 working days to be delivered.

    Rest of the World
    Delivery times will differ according to destination and shipment method.
  • What is the return procedure for unwanted items?

    You may return unwanted items within 14 calendar days from the delivery date, provided that you:
    Do not remove any of the attached tags.
    Fill in and include the enclosed Return Form with the item you wish to return.
    Inform us by mail at [email protected] that you wish to return an item and make the necessary arrangements with a reputable courier company of your choice.
    Please note that you are liable for the return costs.

  • Can I return an item from which the tags have been removed if it is within the 14 calendar day time limit?

    Sorry, no. We cannot accept items without tags, as it is our only guarantee that they have not been used prior to being returned.
  • I have not removed tha tags, but the 14 day limit has passed. Can I return the purchased item?

    Sorry, no. We are very strict on the 14 day calendar rule and it is your responsibility to adhere by it.
  • How soon can I have a refund after I return an item to you?

    It depends on your payment method. If you paid by debit or credit card the refund will take between 7 and 10 days from the day we receive the item back and are satisfied that the conditions of return have been met. If you paid by credit card installments, the refund will be effected in installments and will take the same amount of time to be completed. If you paid by bank deposit or cash on delivery, the refund will usually take between 10 and 15 days. If you paid by PayPal the refund will usually take up to 2 days.
ITEM PURCHASE POLICY
  • How can I sell my things on your website?

    The procedure is simple. By following the link “SELL” found on our homepage, you will be directed to the Sale Form which you will need to fill in. Once we have read it and determined which, if any, of your items are suitable to be put up for sale on our website, we will get in touch with you to arrange delivery of your items to us. If you live in Athens we can pick them up free of charge, but from anywhere else you will have to send them yourself, preferably by courier and at your own expense. Once we receive them we will send you a detailed email as proof of receipt. A few days later we will make you an offer, which will represent the amount of money you will receive if and when your items are sold through our website. If you agree with our offer, we will put the items up for sale for a minimum of three months. If the items are not sold during this time, we will either return them to you or we will agree on a price reduction. If you decide not to accept our offer, your items will be returned to you.
  • How do you decide which items to accept for sale on your website?

    The first and most important factor is authenticity. We cannot stress enough how important this is to us. Our panel of experts goes over every single item extremely carefully and, if there is even the slightest doubt as to the authenticity of an item, it will be rejected. Items must also be in good condition, allowing for normal wear and tear, of a known and popular luxury brand. Ultimately though, several other factors will influence the final decision which will only be made once we have an item in our hands.
  • Can you rent my bag on my behalf?

    Unfortunately we are unable to rent your handbags on your behalf, we can only resell them.
